Two Boston police officers shot, civilian also shot during standoff
Boston Police confirm two officers have been shot on Ferndale Street in Dorchester and a civilian has also been shot.
Sergeant Detective John Boyle told the Herald one officer has non-life-threatening injuries and it is too soon to say how the other officer is doing. There was no word on the condition of the other person shot.
The shooting occurred during a standoff where a suspect had barricaded himself inside. Crisis negotiators and the SWAT team were called in to assist.
This is a developing story and a press conference is scheduled for within the hour.
