Dead body found next to Route 1 in Lynnfield
A passing driver found a dead man by the side of the road on Route 1 north of Boston, according to police.
State Police say that a passing motorist spotted the corpse on the side of the main road in Lynnfield on Friday morning.
The staties for the body around 7:45 a.m. near the Fat Cactus restaurant in the North Shore town.
Little further information was available as the day went on. Troopers closed one northbound lane as they investigated.
