All-Scholastic guard Kiara McIntyre of Needham announced that she will attend St. Leo University in Florida in the fall of 2020. She averaged 15.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 steals a game in leading the Rockets to the Div. 1 South sectional finals.

 

FIELD HOCKEY

Maddie DiNapoli scored three times as North Reading defeated Malden, 5-1, in a nonleague contest. … Lucas Crook tallied three goals and an assist while Cami Crook added another goal and two assists to power Somerset Berkley (18-0) to a 5-1 victory over Plymouth North.

Madeline Delaney scored twice as Brooks rallied to tie Governor’s Academy, 2-2.
