Dorchester man arrested after 4 people stabbed in Boston Theater District
A 39-year-old Dorchester man is accused of stabbing four people in Boston early Sunday morning, according to police.
One of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident, which took place in the area of Stuart and Tremont streets in the Theater District.
Boston Police officers at around 2:10 a.m. responded to a report of a stabbing near Stuart and Tremont, and they made an on-site arrest of Daryl Diamond.
Officers at the scene found two men who had been stabbed. Also, a third adult male victim brought himself to a local hospital, and a fourth victim went to a hospital several hours following the incident.
One of the male victims suffered life-threatening injuries, while the other three had non-life-threatening injuries. All victims are expected to survive their injuries, police said.
Following an on-scene investigation, officers took Diamond into custody.
Diamond is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on four counts of assault with intent to murder, and four counts of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (knife).
