Patriots-Raiders preseason game set for Aug. 26
The Patriots will kick off their preseason game in Las Vegas on Friday, Aug. 26, at 8:15 p.m., the Raiders announced Wednesday.
The teams will reportedly hold joint practices before their shared preseason finale.
The Patriots will also play the Giants and Panthers this preseason at dates and times yet to be determined. Those exhibitions will kick off in Foxboro, with Carolina also reportedly visiting for preceding joint practices.
The Pats will travel to Las Vegas again this year for a Week 15 battle in primetime. Kickoff is set for Dec. 18 at 8:20 p.m.
It will mark the first time Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels takes on his old team since taking the job in Las Vegas. McDaniels coached in New England for close to 20 years, most notably as the team’s longest-tenured offensive coordinator under Bill Belichick.
