Brockton teen pleads not guilty in shooting murder
A 17-year-old was arraigned for murder in the fatal shooting of a Brockton man earlier this month.
Tashawn Brown, Brockton, pleaded not guilty of murdering Fabio Andrade-Monteiro, 22, at his arraignment in Brockton District Court Wednesday.
Brown is accused of shooting Andrade-Monteiro just after 10 p.m. on Feb. 10 in the 100-block of Ash Street, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
When police arrived at the scene they found a man, identified as Andrade-Monteiro, injured from a single gunshot wound, the office reported. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital and pronounced dead at around midnight.
