Patriots S Kyle Dugger among three missing at practice Wednesday
FOXBORO — Kyle Dugger’s breakout season may have hit a bump in the road.
Dugger was missing at practice Wednesday for unknown reasons. The second-year safety played through the end of the Patriots’ 36-13 win over the Titans last weekend. Dugger was one of three players absent Wednesday, along with practice-squad defensive back BoPete Keyes and offensive lineman Alex Redmond.
Dugger currently leads the Pats with 80 tackles and ranks third in interceptions with three. Without him, the Patriots’ safety depth would be down to Devin McCourty, Adrian Phillips, Myles Bryant and special-teamer Cody Davis.
The Pats will hold three more practices ahead of Monday night’s showdown at Buffalo and produce their first injury report of the week Thursday evening.
