Patriots-Panthers injury report: J.C. Jackson available, Sam Darnold questionable for Sunday
Patriots cornerback J.C. Jackson returned to practice Friday for the first this week and is now expected to play Sunday at Carolina.
An unspecified illness could only keep Jackson out two days, as he was a full participant Friday and later removed from the team’s injury report.
Twelve other players were ruled was questionable. Wide receiver N’Keal Harry and Jake Bailey were new additions Friday, both suffering from knee injuries. All other 10 players listed as questionable played last week in Los Angeles, despite most of them being listed as questionable before kickoff.
The Panthers listed starting quarterback Sam Darnold (right shoulder/concussion) as questionable, after backup P.J. Walker led the starting offense for most, if not all, of the team’s reps in practice this week.
