Patriots-Panthers injury report: J.C. Jackson out, Sam Darnold limited Wednesday
The Patriots were down one key starter at practice Wednesday, while the Panthers basically practiced without starting quarterback Sam Darnold.
Darnold was “extremely limited,” according to Carolina coach Matt Rhule, who said Darnold is in the NFL’s concussion protocol and dealing with an ailing shoulder. He did not take any reps in team drills, and was one of two players listed as limited on the Panthers’ injury report.
The Pats listed 11 players as limited on their report, with second-round rookie defensive lineman Christian Barmore being the only new addition.
