Boston woman killed in Lowell, DA says
A Boston woman has been identified as the person killed in Lowell, the victim of what authorities say are “multiple sharp force injuries.”
Dejah Jenkins-Minus, 22, was found dead in Lowell, and authorities continue to seek her killer, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan.
Ryan and Lowell Police say she’s believed to be the victim of a Friday homicide.
Police responded to Llewelyn Street in Lowell for a wellbeing check about 10:30 a.m. Friday at the request of someone who knew Jenkins-Minus. There, the officers found her dead, the victim of “apparent trauma,” cops say.
An autopsy the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on Saturday ruled her death a homicide by “multiple sharp force injuries.”
This is not believed to be random incident, authorities say.
