Patriots-Chargers injury report: Austin Ekeler, 14 Patriots questionable for Sunday’s game
The Patriots may have caught a major break ahead of Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
Los Angeles running back Austin Ekeler is officially questionable after missing practice Thursday and sitting out the start of Friday’s practice. The Pats listed 14 players on their injury report as questionable, including tight end Jonnu Smith, linebacker Donta’ Hightower and center David Andrews. All three of them appeared to have traveled, per the team’s web site.
Wide receiver Kendrick Bourne (shoulder) is expected to play Sunday, despite being limited all week. The only Patriot ruled out was core special teamer Brandon King. King had been limited throughout the week with a thigh injury.
