VOLLEYBALL

Abigail Lens powered Apponequet in a 3-0 sweep of Seekonk in the South Coast Conference, registering 11 kills to pair with Mia Comeau and Sydney Swinney’s 15 combined aces.

Kathryn Rzepala notched 12 aces and 18 assists, leading Lowell Catholic (8-7) to a 3-2 win over Notre Dame (T).

Barnstable (8-3) handed Dennis-Yarmouth its first loss, 3-0, in the Cape and Islands Atlantic final. Caroline Kiehnau led the way with 16 kills.
