DUXBURY
The EMISCA state champion in the 100-free and 400-free relay, Backlund helped his school set records in the 200- and 400-free relays while being named Patriot League MVP. The four-time league All-Star owns school records in the 200-medley relay, 200-free relay and 400-free relay. The National Honor Society member will go to Penn State where he hopes to be a member of their swim team.

NANTUCKET
The Cape & Islands League MVP and All-Star placed second in the 100-butterfly and fourth in the 50-freestyle. The senior is the Cape & Islands record holder in the 100-butterfly. Beebe trains at Nantucket Swimming. An honor roll student, Beebe will attend UMass in the fall.

WESTON
The Dual County League champion set a meet record in the 200-IM. The junior also is part of the Gator Swim Club and is working on his college plans while also participating in scuba diving, free diving and coding. He will be a swimmer to watch next year.

ST. JOHN’S PREP
The sophomore took home the EMISCA state title in the 500-freestyle, while placing fourth in the 200-freestyle. He also took home first place in the 500-freestyle in the Catholic Conference meet and placed second in the 200-freestyle in the same meet. Ranked among the top-five in his age group in New England, Bosma was undefeated in the 500-freestyle. He is a member of the National Honor Society.

PENTUCKET/TRITON
The co-Swimmer of the Year in the Cape Ann League, Brien placed first in the league with a 58.87 in the 100-butterfly. His 100-freestyle time of 54.60 was first in the CAL meet and his 50-freestyle (23.90) also earned him top honors. The sophomore is planning to have a future in physical therapy/sports medicine.

MARBLEHEAD
The Northeastern Conference MVP, Coleman had the fastest 100-butterfly (49.04) and 50-freestyle (21.62) in the state. The three-time Northeastern Conference All Star has the school records in the 50-freestyle. 100-freestyle, 100-backstroke, 400-freestyle relay, 200-IM relay and the 200-freestyle relay. A high honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society, Brian will swim for Williams College while studying economics.

WESTFORD ACADEMY
The EMISCA state runner-up in the 200-freestyle, Granger was the Dual County League champion in that event, winning in a time of 1:44.91 this season. The senior’s career-best in the 100-freestyle was 48.10. The National Honor Society member is undecided about his future plans, but plans to study biochemistry.

The Dual County League champion in the 100-backstroke, the junior also placed second in the 200-freestyle and was part of a 200-medley relay team that broke a school record. The EMISCA state champion in the 100-backstroke, Hensch holds three school records and is a three-time Dual County League All-Star.

HAVERHILL
The EMISCA state champion in the 200-freestyle, McLaughlin set school and Merrimack Valley Conference records in the 100- and 200-freestyle races. The junior also took a top-3 finish in the 100-backstroke in states his sophomore year. An honor roll student, McLaughlin plans to attend a four-year college while also swimming

CONCORD-CARLISLE
The three-time Div. 1 state diving champion had an undefeated season while winning the Dual County League diving title for the third straight season. A member of the Herald All-Decade team, Reichle helped his team to the 2020 North sectional championship. The National Honor Society member will continue his athletic career at Georgetown University.

CARDINAL SPELLMAN
The three-time All-American and Catholic Central League All-Star set a league record in the 100-freestyle and 100-backstroke to take home first place in both events. The senior is a high honor roll student who has a scholarship to swim at LSU in the fall.

WAYLAND
The four-time Dual County League champion and three-time state/sectional champion is third in all-time points for Wayland. The Dual County League All-Star swam the 100 breaststroke and set a Dual County League record with All-American consideration this season. The high honor roll student is undecided about his future plans.

ST. JOHN’S PREP
The Catholic Conference MVP set a school record in the 50- and 200-freestyle events. The senior had a 21.27 in the 50 freestyle in his career. He will be attending the College of New Jersey in the fall.

200-MEDLEY RELAY
Juniors Lucas Pralle and Jason Shu along with seniors Jiming Xu and Armen Abrahamian won the Dual County League 200 medley relay with a 1:35.42. Xu and Abrahamian are both undecided about their futures. Pralle and Shu are high honor roll students.

200-FREESTYLE RELAY
Seniors Kai Zola, Luke Magnuson, Logan Greenwalt and Andrew Coady led the way to a 200-freestyle relay school record. Zola was the Catholic Conference MVP and will be going to the College of New Jersey. Magnuson is a National Honor Society member and is undecided about his college plans. Coady swam the third leg in the record-setting relay, while Greenwalt plays water polo.

400-FREESTYLE RELAY
Seniors Tyler Williamson and Dan Backlund swam in tandem with sophomore Elliot Morse and freshman Theo Morse to set a school record in the 400-freestyle relay. Williamson is a two-time Patriot League All Star and Backlund won that honor four times as well as Patriot League MVP. Morse is a two-time Patriot League All Star and has a Summa Award. Morse was also a league champ in the 100-butterfly.
