BC, UMass games postponed due to COVID

The Boston College men’s and women’s basketball programs had their upcoming games postponed in adherence to ACC Medical Advisory Group’s outlined COVID-19 protocols.

The men’s game at Virginia Tech scheduled for Wednesday night has been postponed. The shutdown follows a positive test, subsequent quarantining and contact tracing within the BC program. The BC men host Pittsburgh on Saturday at 6 p.m.

The BC women’s home game against Clemson set for Thursday night has also been postponed. BC had a positive test with quarantining. BC hosts Pitt on Sunday.

The UMass’ men’s program had its Atlantic 10 match against St. Louis on Wednesday postponed. The Minutemen will look to resume play at home against Davidson on Sunday at noon.

The UConn’s men’s Big East match on Wednesday against Xavier has been postponed. The problem originated in the Xavier camp and no make-up date has been set.
