WATCH LIVE: Trump, Biden face off in final debate

President Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden will face off in their final debate at 9 tonight as time runs out to make their mark on voters.

Moderator Kristen Welker of NBC News selected the following six topics for the 90-minute bout: Fighting COVID-19, American families, race in America, climate change, national security and leadership.

In a break from the norm, the candidates will have their microphones muted when it’s each other’s turn to speak during the first two minutes of each segment, a new rule from the commission that organizes the debates after the first clash between the 2020 rivals descended into crosstalk chaos.

Unlike in the vice presidential debate earlier this month, the candidates will not be separated by plexiglass barriers.

Tonight’s debate marks the last major opportunity for either candidate to change the trajectory of the race, with Biden leading in national polls and Trump crisscrossing the battleground states to make up ground after being temporarily sidelined during his bout with coronavirus.
