Brownwyn Hadley had seven saves for the Royals. … Ava Czarnota registered a hat trick, powering North Reading to a 7-1 romp of Triton. … Callie Beauparlant scored twice as Newburyport edged Pentucket, 3-2.
Senior Alyssa Farias scored the lone goal of the game to boost Bishop Stang (1-1-0) past Bishop Feehan, 1-0, in the Catholic Central League.
In Hockomock League action, Georgia Costello and Julia Maclaine each recorded two goals and an assist to lead Oliver Ames (1-0) to a 5-1 win over North Attleboro. … Behind 22 saves from Makenzie Manning, King Philip (1-0) held on for a 3-2 win over Mansfield. Isabelle Crocker powered the Warriors with two second-half scores. … Franklin got hat tricks from both Kaitlyn Carney and Steph Bell, with Carney also adding three assists, in a 10-0 rout of Milford.
