Revolution set to resume training
The New England Revolution were quick to respond when Gov. Charlie Baker announced on May 29 that pro teams could resume training in Massachusetts.
“The governor’s announcement is an important step towards our goal of returning to competitive play this season and we appreciate his office’s effort to get our players back on the field,” said Revolution president Brian Bilello.
“It means our players will have the opportunity to build their fitness in a controlled safe environment under MLS protocols and the guidance of the team’s medical staff.”
MLS established its protocols on May 6 for individual indoor workouts and outdoor training fields. The Revolution had to submit its club specific program to MLS that outlines health and safety protocols.
