Perfect day for No Pants: ‘Give your legs a chance to breathe’

A few dozen participants in the No Pants Subway Ride Boston dropped their trousers on a Blue Line train leaving Bowdoin Station before riding the MBTA’s Orange, Red and Green lines while wearing panties, briefs and other undergarments during the annual activity Sunday.

“It’s a chance to embrace your silliness and to engage with people in a way that you probably never did,” said organizer Malcolm Joseph, 34, of Boston.

“It’s amazing,” said Joseph of Sunday’s unusually warm weather. “Last year it was cold, it was snowing, it was chilly. This is the perfect time to do it. Give your legs a chance to breathe.”
