Man suffers life-threatening wounds in Dorchester shooting: cops

A man suffered life-threatening injuries after someone shot him in Dorchester on Thursday night, police say.

The shooting took place just before 4 p.m., with the victim found outside of 160 Norfolk St. in the Codman Square neighborhood, cops said. It’s unclear if that’s where in the area that the man, an adult, was actually shot.

Police said the man appears to have suffered life-threatening injuries, but the specifics were not immediately available.

Boston police continue to investigate the shooting, and no arrests have been made.
