Police searching for Cohasset woman, 39, last seen shortly after midnight on New Year’s day
A 39-year-old Cohasset woman who hasn’t been seen since the turning of the new year is missing.
As of just before 12:30 p.m., police are searching an area next to Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Route 3A, for Ana Walshe, who was last seen at her home. She was last seen at her home in the early morning hours of New Year’s day, according to the Cohasset Police Department
“We’re looking for the public’s help and the media’s help,” said Cohasset Police Chief William Quigley at a Friday press conference. “She was reported missing, again, on the first and she’s not been heard from. We have detectives working around the clock.”
Walshe is 5-foot-2 and weighs 115 pounds, according to the Cohasset Police Department, and speaks with an Eastern European accent. She also has brown hair and eyes and an olive complexion.
Police received reports of her missing on Wednesday from both her husband in Cohasset as well as her employer in Washington, D.C., Quigley said. Her LinkedIn profile states that she is a regional general manager for Tishman Speyer, a real estate developer and operator, a position she has had since February of last year.
She was previously the director of operations for The Mutlu Group in Boston.
Authorities ask that anyone who has seen Walshe or has any information on her whereabouts contact Det. Harrison Schmidt of the Cohasset P.D. at (781) 383-1055, extension 6108, or by email at hschmidt@cohassetpolice.com.
This is a developing story.
