Three officers stabbed in New Hampshire: Police
A man is accused of stabbing three police officers while they responded to a domestic incident in Manchester, N.H., on Tuesday, police said.
The officers were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the man was taken into custody, according to a post on the Manchester Police Facebook page.
At around 3:20 p.m., police responded to 6 Ahern St. for a domestic incident.
After telling the man multiple times to come out of a room — and he did not comply — the officers went in to the room and there was a “struggle.”
“Unbeknownst to the officers, the suspect had a hidden knife and three officers were stabbed,” police wrote. “The officers were all taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. One officer has already been treated and released.”
The suspect’s name was not immediately released. Police continue to investigate.
